Celebrating Blues Music at the North Devon Cider and Ale Festival

Updated: Aug 28, 2025

A Vibrant Atmosphere in Appledore

This popular North Devon cider and ale festival took place in the beautiful fishing village of Appledore. It was hosted by The Royal and coincided with the Instow & Appledore Regatta weekend. As you can imagine, the village was buzzing with excitement.

The Neil Sadler Band received a lively welcome from a fantastic crowd of blues fans and followers. Many had travelled great distances to see them perform. Friends Dave and Gill Green made the journey from West Yorkshire. Dave kindly captured this moment with a photograph. Thanks, Dave!

The Joy of Live Music

Live music brings people together. It creates a sense of community. At the festival, I felt the energy in the air. The crowd sang along to familiar tunes. They clapped and cheered, creating an electric atmosphere.

As I performed, I could see smiles on faces. It reminded me why I love sharing my music. Each note resonated with the audience. I felt connected to everyone present.

A Memorable Performance

The Neil Sadler Band played a mix of original songs and classic blues covers. We aimed to engage the audience and keep them entertained. The response was overwhelming. People danced and swayed to the rhythm.

I always strive to create a memorable experience. The festival was no exception. I enjoyed every moment on stage. The cheers and applause fueled my passion for music.

Building Connections

Festivals like this one are essential for artists. They provide a platform to showcase our talent. More importantly, they allow us to connect with fans. I met many wonderful people during the event. Each conversation added to the experience.

Some fans shared their stories about how blues music impacted their lives. It was heartwarming to hear. Music has a unique way of bringing people together.

Looking Ahead

As I reflect on the festival, I feel grateful. Events like these help me grow my audience. I aim to share my blues music with as many people as possible. Touring extensively and performing at various venues and festivals across the UK is my goal.

I want to solidify my reputation as a multi-award nominated artist. The journey may be challenging, but it is rewarding. I look forward to the next opportunity to perform and connect with fans.

In conclusion, the North Devon cider and ale festival was a fantastic experience. I appreciate everyone who came out to support live music. I hope to see you at future events. Let's keep the blues alive together!
